I Have been using this appliaction for almost a year as my main chat tool. It has been good overall, But one day google connection shorted out. and it was not just mac but PC as well. The recent update fixed it for PC but after I updated it still fails to connect to google. It needs to be fixed ASAP or I am going to search for a new application.

I’ve been using trillion for years. Love it. I just saw in the reviews that it ain’t just me. there’s apparently an issue with trillion. I actually went into google to see if it was blocking the app like yahoo now does to yosemite and adium but I am not sure. Trillion folks please fix the access to google ASAP. I LOVE trillion on all my devices as it beats Adium. Thank god I no longer pay for the account and am on the free one now cause this would really bite even more!

With the new update, I suddenly show contacts that are unknown to me. They cannot be deleted.

This app is worthless without the ability to use Google Chat. Until they fix it, I’d stay clear unless you just want the app to look pretty on your dock.

I’ve been trying for 3-4 weeks and no avail. I also made a Help Desk Ticket.. When it works the app is solid 4 stars, but now it’s useless.

I had been using this for quite a long time with no real issues, however the latest update broke it. Now it will either fail to launch, or it will come up and hang making me force quit it. Ever since the last update I haven’t been able to use the application successfully once.

Trillian requires connecting to your chat server by proxy via a trillian account. This means that this Trillian account doesn’t connect to the server it self, it only connects to the trillian server. The trillian server will then connect to each of your accounts, and it means that the trillian server needs to keep a copy of your passwords. There’s no way to audity the security or trustworthiness of the trillian proxy servers.

I open it. Nothing happens. Can’t access anything. Can’t do anything.

I installed it twice. Nothing happens. Nothing pops up at all. Trillion doesn’t really care about Mac uses like it does about Windows, I know that, but this is kind of ridiculous.

I open the app and no windows show up. I go to the windows drop down and select contact list, downloads, etc. I click on all avaialble windows and still nothing shows up.

The version Im using 3.2 is not working at all. When opening no windows appear. It seems as if I am not signed in, but there is no way to sign in, so none of the signed in functionality is working when you click on the menu bar options. Consider this a Sev 0 blocker folks. This needs a production patch asap.

we use trillian at my workplace as our chat app, I have to say they are doing a great job, the latest version blows away the previous. Keep up the great work!!

Since the latest version became available I have be unable to view any of my connections. Connections to certain IM solutions do not work either. Would prefer to downgrade and reinstall the previous release. Whatever was done in this release needs to be addressed.

I’m not sure what the other reviewers are talking about. I have a 17” Macbook Pro (mid 2010) 8GB RAM running Mac OS X 10.10.5 and it’s working great. I actually downloaded Trillian because Adium wouldn’t connect to my Yahoo! account.

Upon on trying to download it, it says service unavailable. wow sad. and Yahoo Instant messenger is not MAC friendly

Downloaded this to use Yahoo messaging for work, only. So far, so good. It stays connected, and seems to function well.

Trying the Mac versions to this application, This did not transfer any of my accounts and is not allowing me to add them manually… very disappointed.

Jabber is currently not working in this version while on El Capitan.

I’ve used trillian for a few years now and love the app, but ever since the newest update it crashes every time you send a message! frustrating!

The app was great, but since this recent update, it’s crashes at least 4 to 5 times a day. Hope this gets fixed soon, because it’s such a great app to use.
