Security concerns

Trillian requires connecting to your chat server by proxy via a trillian account. This means that this Trillian account doesn’t connect to the server it self, it only connects to the trillian server. The trillian server will then connect to each of your accounts, and it means that the trillian server needs to keep a copy of your passwords.

There’s no way to audity the security or trustworthiness of the trillian proxy servers.
