Astra account mandatory ?!

Idea of trillian is good. Interface is beautiful. But there is no Skype account connection :-(

Otherwise my main concern is about the Astra account. 1 more account to create !!!
I desinstall Trillian because I dont want to be on the Astra account but its too late, Ive already created one ... and no option to "erase" my Astra account now...

prefer Adium : no additional account to create/register.
