Couldn’t Set up Jabber

The interface is so much nicer looking than the Cisco Jabber client that I have to use day in and out, but I couldn’t get my Jabber account to connect. As soon as I entered Jabber ID and password, the app would go into and endless loop trying to connect, not letting me adjust the hostname. After forcing a disconnect I still couldn’t get it to work using credentials that work in other apps.

It doesn’t work, but it looks really nice.
